Atlanta Design Festival Announces theme for 2025: BE MUSICA

Design begins where words end. Like music, it reaches us through rhythm, repetition, silence, and variation. It pulls the future forward through pattern and disruption. 

This year, the Atlanta Design Festival invites the global design community to reflect on a single idea: BE MUSICA.

This is not a slogan. It’s a position.

Design, like music, is a system of feeling. It structures emotion into experience. It creates harmony where there was conflict, and possibility where there was absence. Both music and design rely on composition: a process of assembling the disparate into something whole. Both require listening before expression, intuition before execution.
